The Good Plans of God

How good are all the plans of God,
How righteous are His ways?
His works in all creation shine,
And in our earthly days.
He sets His will, His purpose stands,
His love – it is displayed.
He guides us in our feeble steps,
And always lends His aid.
My soul will trust His promises,
By prayer I’ll trust His will;
The hand that leads me through this life
Will lead me further still.
Therefore I have no cause to fear,
No reason now to dread;
The road before me is prepared
For Christ goes on ahead.
